At General Containers we split our containers by 'Grade'. Each container will be given a grade that lets you know the condition it is in (new or used).See our grading below:
New - Brand new. Perfect condition, used for one trip into the country. New factory paint and door seals. May have minor marks from being unloaded
A Grade - Usually 1-8 years old. still in very tidy condition. Wind and waterproof. With some marks, dents and scrapes
B Grade - Usually 8-12 years old. Wind & waterproof. Floor and paint in fair condition with dents, scrapes, marks and signs of repair. The most popular grade
C Grade - Usually 10+ years old. wind and water proof, however are showing signs of their age. Expect dents, signs or repair, rust & scrapes.
As is - Usually 15+ years old. Signs of leaks and significant aging. Often requiring repair. One for the DIYers.
There are a few options for this - when your hire or purchase is finalised you can either arrange delivery with a transport company your self or we can arrange it for you. Containers are delivered either by Hiab Truck or by Swing Lift. Hiabs can reach further and allow for more maneuverability and control for the placement of your container. Swing Lifts will lift the container off and place next to their trailer.
Before delivery we recommend you ensure the site you have selected is level and clear of any debris. Paving slabs are an effective tool to place under the four corner casts to ensure a level base for your container. It's also important to clear that path that the delivery truck will take to drop your container to you.
For purchases, payment is required prior to the delivery of your container. For a hires, we require transport and 1 months hire in advance to be paid prior to delivery. If you are a business, we can set up an account for ongoing hire/sales which will allow different payment terms.
